Hallelujah! We finally have other colors here besides white. :) We've been out-and-about every chance we get, either riding our bikes or taking the four-wheeler where no cars are allowed; as you can
see from the pictures that show the whole town. We are way up by the St. Maries cross that lights up at night. Those of you lucky people who have been here have seen how neat it is that a tribute to our creator is actually allowed and maintained! We also have the Ten-Commandments in front of our court house...just let some liberal try to take them down. Anyway, enjoy the pictures. The river is pretty high, almost to over-flow stage due to the warm weather and the heavy snow fall, the snow is melting very fast. One of the pictures shows a road that is flooded. This is up-the-Joe from us and goes to a small town called St. Joe City. In the old days it use to be a booming little place, but now only has a few residents. The big and fancy hotel burned down years ago so the town kinda fizzled. We don't believe the river will flood too much around here, but everyone is keeping an eye on the St. Joe (which is across the street from us), the St. Maries and Couer d'Alene rivers which all eventually go into the Couer d'Alene lake. The wildlife are certainly enjoying all the food available now. We don't feed the deer any more, but we still fill up our automatic corn feeder for the wild turkeys and quail. It's turkey hunting season now, but we heard that unless you grew up eating them, they don't taste very good, so we're just feeding them to keep them around. If they get too bad, there are a lot of hunters that will take care of them for us. As for family news....Candace, Jason and Jeremy all celebrated birthdays this past week. Candace was May 16th and is now 35, the boys, May 17th are 34. Angel will turn 36 on June 9th. I'm sure most of you remember them as shown in this picture...They all turned out pretty good :) Ed & I are very proud of them and the great families they are raising. We really miss the big get-togethers we had, but hopefully soon we can arrange a big reunion. We have plenty of room so everyone is invited...talk to ya'll soon.
