Congratulations Candace!

On to High School for Candace. She graduated from Jr. High on June 5th and went out with honors, speeches and lots of friends and her small Idaho family. As VP of her class, she opened the ceremony (the class pres. closed). Each student had to memorize a poem and recite it. Some of the kids did a great job and others were so petrified I thought they would faint, but as the principle said he wanted each student to be recognized and to do something that they would not normally do. They all made it and after were very proud that they did. Candace recited a 'Thank-You" poem dedicated to everyone who helped her so far in her life. She was a straight 'A' student while doing very well in sports; playing soccer, track, and basketball, and served on student council. She already has her high school years all planned out. When she went up to receive her diploma, all her friends and of course we were yelling and clapping and her principle said to her, "You don't have many friends do you Candace." :)
Needless to say, we are very proud of her as with ALL our grandkids. They are all growing up so fast. Next year, we'll have our first grandchild graduate from high school, Alexandria; Jordan and Celeste will graduate from 8th grade, and Cheyenne will be a Junior! Whew! All but 4 are in school so far, but Peyton (Jason & Tara's 2 year old) will begin pre-shcool next year, with the other three soon to follow. So enjoy the pic's of our beautiful Candace. Congratulations sweetie, we love and are so proud of you!
P.S. Candace's dress made special by Gramie Creations :)
